Community Service

PACE students perform a minimum of thirty hours of community service each school year in a myriad of settings in the greater Sacramento area. Students serve as tutors, work at non-profit agencies in clerical capacities, assist with fun runs, serve food, entertain children, assist with community information fairs, fundraisers, and environmental clean-up days, to name just a few.

Timely and on-going community service opportunities will be posted in this section of the PACE website. To volunteer, interested students should contact the coordinator listed or the agency/program seeking assistance. General questions about PACE community service or requests for assistance should be referred to the PACE office (916-433-5200 x1326). A community service log can be downloaded from this website and must be filled out and turned in to your PACE teacher. The PACE student handbook contains more information about the requirements and the rubric that must be included with your essay.
