PACE Fundraising

During these times of decreased educational funding, fundraising is an important aspect of the PACE program. These monies are used to finance field trips, including buses, admission costs, etc. A big THANK YOU to the students, parents, and friends who have already contributed to the current school year. Here is a breakdown of how our fundraising dollars are dispersed throughout the school year:

Following is a partial list of fundraising activities PACE parents are needed to help at:
  • Direct donations of $85 from each student's family will greatly reduce the need for additional fundraising throughout the year. If every student's family gives $85 per school year, our budget goals will be met. If you haven't already contributed a $85 for your student directly to the PACE program for this school year, please consider making this tax deductible donation right away. Make your checks payable to "JFK Pace" and send the check into the PACE office today.

  • The Raley's, BelAir, and Nob Hill Quality of Life Cards are available for all PACE students and are an easy way to raise funds for the PACE program. Help us raise money without costing YOU anything! Every time you purchase your groceries, give your card to the cashier to scan and Raley's/BelAir will donate a percentage of your purchases to your designated charities (up to three different charities, PACE being one of them of course. If you received your card through the PACE program, you are automatically setup to donate 100% to PACE). You can click here to check your current designations. If you need help activating or modifying your card, click here.

Following are the dollars we have raised so far (and with no effort!):
    • $1,089  (2009-2010 YTD)
    • $1,603  (2008-2009)
    • $2,022  (2007-2008)
    • $2,500  (2006-2007)
    • $1,400  (2005-2006)

Contact Jennifer Yee by email to get your card or additional cards for family and friends.  On your email, please include your name, your student's name, and a phone number where you can be reached.

  • Working at Arco Arena is fun and profitable for PACE.  Though it takes a lot of volunteers each night (40 to 45 parents), the payback is good - around $900 per night.  Your help is needed!   Please send an email to JFK PACE@Arco to help out.  On your email, please include your name, your student's name, and a phone number where you can be reached. Or fill out this form and send it in with your student to give to their PACE teacher.

Dates and times for the 2010/2011 school year are:
    • * Tuesday 12/21/2010 @ 5pm - game starts @ 7pm against Golden State
    • * Friday 2/4/2011 @ 5pm - game starts @ 7pm against San Antonio
    • * Wednesday 4/13/2011 @ 5:30pm - game starts @ 7:30pm against LA Lakers

  • During the fall, PACE sells the Entertainment Book.   More information is available at the beginning of each school year. The 2009-2010 sale was a sellout of 55 books.

  • Also during the fall, PACE has an Innisbrook Wrapping Paper fundraiser. Catalogs are given to the students during this time. However, during the rest of the school year you can still order by going to www.innisbrook.com, using the school number of 102238, and paying your own shipping costs (after the on campus sale is over, use the Out-of-Town Friends and Family link).
