Parent Information Night Series
The Parent Information Night Series are held periodically during the school year beginning at 7pm, usually in the JFK Little Theater, and provide parents with informative information relevant to their high school student.

| Wednesday, November 12, 2008 | Student Financial Aid Workshop – Mary Gill Location: JFK HS Cafeteria Time: 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Invited: All JFK HS parents and students are encourged to attend! Parents and students, mark your calendar for this great upcoming event. Guest speaker Mary Gill will provide important information to help you navigate the sometimes confusing road that is the financial aid application process. You will learn the ABCs of financial aid to include grants, loans, scholarships, and work study programs. You will learn about the eligibility requirements for student aid, as well as the various sources of aid. You will learn about the FAFSA, the required common form for all colleges in the nation. You will be introduced to several websites that you will find very helpful in the months ahead. This evening's presentation will provide a wealth of essential information every parent and college-bound student should not be without. Although an excellent handout will be provided at the beginning of the event, please bring a pencil or pen and be prepared to take notes. This fantastic opportunity is offered only once a year.
